Dr Georgios Koutsoukos

Dr Georgios Koutsoukos is an Associate Professor in Professional Practice at the Department of Computer Science, Royal Holloway, University of London, where he leads the “IT Project Management” module and “Code Groovers”, the software company in the Department of which students are the main software developers.

Georgios is also the Advisor to the CEO of Empedus, leading the firm’s ServiceNow practice and projects.

Prior to joining Royal Holloway, Georgios worked in the industry for 17 years, mainly in Software Engineering, Project Management, IT Governance and IT Service Management roles – areas in which he is still an active researcher and practitioner.

From 2001 to 2021, he was also teaching at the University of Leicester, where he became a Honorary Visiting Fellow in 2009.

Dr Koutsoukos is a Prince2 Practitioner, APMG AgilePM Practitioner, ITIL4 Strategist and a ServiceNow SPM Implementation Specialist.
