Panos Dimakis

With a background in high-level linguistics and translation, he served for 18 months on the Organizing Committee of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. His translation portfolio includes Nikos Kazantzakis’ seminal works Captain Michalis and The Ascent (the latter being its world-first English translation), along with numerous literary and theatrical projects from English and Italian.

As a keynote speaker and educator, he conducts seminars and training sessions on memory, knowledge, linguistics, personal purpose, and change management at universities, corporate events, and international conferences.

A polyglot fluent in eight languages, Panos is a prominent public figure in Greece, known as "The Falcon" on Mega Channel’s The Chase. He is also the creator of the acclaimed podcast "A Thousand and One Words," dedicated to the history and etymology of the Greek language. He is the author of seven books, including novels and Academic and linguistic works such as the Etymoléxicon and the Vervena Dialect dictionary. His fourth novel, The Sun in the Eyes of the Lions, is scheduled for publication this April.
